Friedrich Edmund Anton Freiherr von Oer-Egelborg (*12. September 1842 on Schloss Egelborg, Legden, Westphalia, Germany † 14. June 1896 in Birstein) was chamberlain of Charles II. prince of Isenburg.
Friedrich von Oer was the son of Klemens Freiherr von Oer (1802-1849) and his second wife Antonia Freiin Droste zu Senden (1819-1889). He grew up and was educated on his parents castle Schloss Egelborg with his half brother, Max Oer (1831-1877), son of Klemens first wife Sophia née Freiin von Fürstenberg, and his brothers Edmund (1844-1918) and Theobald (1848-1920). He studied Law at the University of Bonn After his diploma in law he started working for the prince of Isenburg. He married 23. May 1871 in Birstein Gabriele Gräfin Khuen von Belasi (*17. September 1841 in Bolzano † 14. December 1923 in Störmede). They had three children: Antonia, Gabriel and Clemens. His daughter Antonia was court lady of the duchess of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. She married in 1898 the poet and entrepreneur Ladislaus Pilars de Pilar. Friedrich was the nephew of the painter Theobald von Oer (1807-1885).
